Look of the day for Spring: Urban & Cool

The photograph is sent to me by a dearest friend from a sunny place which I don't envy at all! :)
When it comes to men the ones who take dressing up serious are my favourites. Fashion and being a good looking person is not just for women, right? This friend of mine is one of those!
When we go shopping together even I am the woman it takes him much more longer to leave the shop :D But apparently it is worth it!

His sunny day coffe break style:

Sunnies: Moscot
Leather jacket: Belstaff
Watch: Panerai
T-Shirt: Armani Jeans

Looks That You Can't Go Wrong With!

Inspirational Street Looks (Picked For You)

If you are confused about the new trends or just figure out what to wear, here are some Inspirational Styles that you can't go wrong with!

  • Chinos are not very different from jeans. They look their best when worn with a blazer or waistcoat.
  • Casual shirts are the best choices to have a casual smart look which works for both weekdays and weekends. Make sure they fit you in the neck and sleeves. According to fashionbeans editor; you should be able to fit two fingers comfortably between your neck and collar and when you turn your head the collar should stay still.
  • When it comes to sport jackets or blazers, they must fit your body PERFECTLY. It’s a common knowledge to try on the size below what you normally go for.

From LEFT ---> RIGHT
  1. Tucci Bewley & Ritch Mens Mocha Burgundy Chinos £60 £30
  2. New Mens Superdry Commodity Blazer Jacket  £74.99 £44.99
  3. Uniforms For The Dedicated Midlake Blue Flecked Fleece Jacket £143.65
  4. Original Penguin Penguin Men's Nathaniel Beanie £20
  5. Men's Paul Smith London Speck print slim fit shirt £145.00 - House of Fraser
  6. Howick Men's Amplefourth Printed shirt £49.00 - House of Fraser
  7. Paul Smith Men's Tapered Burgundy Twill Chinos £119 £84
  8. Richard James Beanie Bobble Hat £145

  • For knit jumpers or cardigans, make sure that they aren’t so tight nor too chunky for a slim look. It should be not tight to layer a piece underneath but are cut slim through the sides. For me; round neck pullovers are always preferable than turtle necks.
  • Bomber jackets are on-trend this year and they are perfect pick for a weekend look.
  • Beanies and scarves… The statements accessories for men. You can never go wrong with that in winter. Just make sure they are huge and chunky. :)
From LEFT ---> RIGHT
  1. Kaporal Jumper Chaze Beige, Sojeans £55
  2. Peter Werth Barstow chunky basket knit scarf, House of Fraser£35
  3. Timberland Cable Scarf, Surfdome £49.99
  4. Marc by Marc Jacobs Pensacola Dual-fabric Blue Jacket £671.50
  5. Rag & Bone Graham shawl-neck sweater £245
  6. Peter Werth Baker chunky basket knit beanie, House of Fraser £25
  7. Beams Cable-Knit Beanie, Mr.Porter £75
  8.  Trussardi Contrast panel bomber jacket £740

This photo (look) is one of the greatest example to show the importance of an accessory for men. The scarf... I can only see the scarf here. LOVED IT! WANT IT for myself too... It's unisex. Statement scarves guys... Statement scarves...
  1. Barneys New York Contrast Border Scarf £308.07
  2. Topman Light Grey Textured Jumper £32
  3. Levi's Blue faded Jeans £202.27
  4. Gucci pattern nylon jacket £570
  5. Billy Reid dark oak quail jacket £461.77

  • And the last look... The look that a scarf creates... Again... :)When you go with solid colour for most of your outfits, printed scarves are the way to make a final touch for a stylish look.

  1. Boss Black Men's Hugo Coxton Overcoat £419.99
  2. Scotch & Soda Men's Single breasted coat with inner £300
  3. Dolce & Gabbana concealed button shirt £260
  4. Alexander McQueen God Save McQueen printed modal scarf £445

The Fatal Blow: Belstaff meets David Beckham

When it comes to menswear Belstaff has always been in my TOP 3 brands. It's 'the' love mark of mine. I love the style, the fabric, the design, and the attitude of the brand.
There is no one in the world that can say that David Beckham is not a style icon.
So...
Here is a fatal blow! Belstaff meets David Beckham! The best campaign couple of all times!

As a leather star, Belstaff is known for making some of the finest motorcycle attire around. With its new chief creative officer Martin Cooper, the biking brand has opened a gargantuan flagship shop on London's New Bond Street and launched it with a style icon; David Beckham.

Belstaff is now open at 135-137 New Bond Street, Mayfair, London, W1.
To shop it online click here.

Here is an interview with David Beckham by Nick Carvell, Fashion Editor of GQ.co.uk, at last night's store launch to talk bikes, biker jackets and best-dressed riders.
Source for the interview: GQ

GQ: When did you first get involved with Belstaff?
David Beckham: About five or six years I went into a vintage store when I was first thinking about riding bikes and found this really cool biker - an old, vintage Belstaff jacket. I've worn it ever since.

GQ: Who's the best-dressed man to ever get on a bike?
I always look back in time, so I'd have to say Steve McQueen.

GQ: What is it about riding a bike you particularly love? Does Victoria ever hop on with you?
With four children, it hard to get her on the bike. I love the freedom of riding. When you're out there no-one knows it's you because you've got the full face helmet on. I can just enjoy being alone.

GQ: Do you have a couple of bikes yourself?
I do, they're over in LA. I haven't actually ridden in England yet - only in the US and in France.

GQ: What's your favourite motorbike?
It's got to be my vintage [Harley Davidson] Knucklehead. I had it built specially from different parts. It's great - really Twenties looking. Also you just can't beat a classic Triumph.

Leather Is A New Trend To Watch Out For!

Bottega Veneta

When somebody mentions about leather trousers I always remember "Friends" episode with Ross' epic leather trousers fail, and somehow they come back!
Leather is a big trend to watch out for.
I have always been a big fan of the leather gloves, bracelets and jackets but I have never felt warm about leather trousers for men. I think men should wear leather only as jackets & accessories; not as trousers.
But trend is a trend. My opinion vs designer’s opinion… Ralph Lauren, Dsquared2 and Calvin Klein were huge advocates of this trend including the trousers and UI have to admit that they look good on stage.
I have blogged about Belstaff’s new campaign as “Moto-Inspired” like a month ago which includes many great leather biker jackets. But now it’s a street style no matter if you are a biker or not.
Tough-guy image always works!

It doesn’t have to black anymore. An easy way to make an appearance among all the trendhunters is to utilise colours.

I just wonder if any of you considers to try this new trend… I think you should!

I picked out some great leather jackets and accessories for you. Please check out: http://pict.com/p/BKm

ON TREND: MOTO-INSPIRED by Belstaff

I think when Abercrombie guys grow up they become Belstaff men. J
Belstaff has always been special for me when it comes to men fashion. It’s a stylish, trendy, city guy brand. I don’t even feel the need to mention the quality.
There are 2 significant things on stylish men;
  1. Motorbikes and
  2. Tattoos.

Not like Harley Davidson men. More like BMW 1200 GS or Triumph guys.

Belstaff featured its new campaign with Triumph motorbikes in it and their motto is: MOTO-INSPIRED.
So there is no way that the collection is not cool!

There are some styles just for ‘on the go’ but some styles are ok for a street walk too.

WOLLASTON HENLEY in Moto Cotton Jersey
€480 €216

H RACER JACKET in Rubberized Jersey
€520

KENWOOD JUMPER in Merino Wool
€475
